Users can easily blur their video background both before joining a session, and during a session. Note, this feature is supported on Chrome and Edge. This feature is not yet supported on Firefox or Safari.
Blurring your video background before joining a session
Before joining a session, users are shown a settings preview page. You can blur your video background by clicking the "blur my background" toggle switch:

To enable or disable video background blurring during a session, click the settings gearwheel in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, and select "Audio and Video Settings" to open the Audio and Video Settings menu. On the Audio and Video Settings menu, you will have the option to enable or disable video background blurring by clicking the "blur my background" toggle switch:
